Emily Maynard is married: ‘Bachelorette’ star marries beau Tyler Johnson

Emily Maynard is a married woman! The former Bachelorette and her beau, Tyler Johnson, got married on June 7 at Johnson’s parents’ farm in South Carolina. According to Us Weekly, Maynard wore a strapless gown with a white tulle skirt. The top was embellished with fabric rosettes. Emily wore her blonde hair lightly curled and swept to the side. As you can imagine, she looked beautiful.

Emily and Tyler said their “I do’s” in front of about 200 guests. In an earlier report by Us Weekly, Emily and Tyler originally told their guests that they were throwing an engagement party — this was likely done to throw off the paparazzi. It didn’t take long, however, for guests to realize that this was an actual wedding.

“It was romantic and beautiful. When Tyler saw Emily, he was completely in awe. Everyone seemed to have a great time,” a witness said.

Emily Maynard hasn’t made mention of her big day on Twitter just yet, but that is likely because she and Tyler Johnson are on their honeymoon. However, several sites have been reporting on the details of Em’s big day! According to E! Online, Emily and Tyler had a classic country themed wedding. There was a lot of pink (the cake, the flowers, and even Emily’s dress), and a lot of food (fried chicken, shrimps, scalloped potatoes and pulled pork).

Emily and Tyler shared the traditional first dance and then Tyler danced with Emily’s daughter, Ricki. As evidenced in the photo above (posted by Maynard a couple of weeks ago), Tyler and Ricki have quite a strong bond. Emily has always wanted to find someone for her, but she also wanted to find someone that was right for Ricki as well. It looks like she really has found the perfect guy in Tyler.

It’s unknown where Emily Maynard and Tyler Johnson are spending their honeymoon, but it’s probably somewhere tropical. It wouldn’t be surprising to hear that Ricki joined the two (even though it would be great for them to have some alone time). As for children, it’s likely that Emily and Tyler will have a baby soon. Emily has always wanted to have another baby.

Israel suspends peace talks with Palestinians

The announcement from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office, on Thursday, arrived as an unexpected: The diplomatic-security cabinet had a five-hour meeting that votes suspends its negotiations as the U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry was behind this peace talk.

Netanyahu was inflamed that Mahmoud Abbas, the moderate who heads both the Palestinian authority and the secular Fatah party, had agreed to patch over a seven-year gap with Hamas, the militant Islamist group whose charter denies Israel’s existence.

However, this does not mean the talks is over which expires on April 29? “No, of course not,” says Efraim Inbar, the conservative head of the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies, a think tank at Bar-Ilan University in Ramat Gan outside Tel Aviv. “We’ll see what happens with Hamas.”

Kerry had to persuade both sides into participating in the talks that began in July, and there was no progress made. Ever since, the U.S. efforts to extend them through the end of the year failed three weeks ago. Kerry said the Obama administration would re-asses its investment in the effort.

At this time, Netanyahu and Abbas have indicated interest to continue talking, and to improve the prospects of a deal. The EU welcomed the pact ending the factional rift, which divided the Palestinian public both politically and territorially, as Hamas governing the Gaza Strip, where 1.7 million Palestinians reside while Fatah held sway on the West Bank, home to another 2.5 million.

A senior Fatah official on Thursday said the unity pact with Hamas was made with the understanding that the group would support the peace talks, regardless of what its charter says. “We wouldn’t have been prepared or able to sign a reconciliation agreement without it being clear to all the Palestinian factions that we are leading our nation to a two-states-for-two-nations solution,” former PA security chief Jabril Rajoub told Israel’s Army Radio. Rajoub tried to turn the tables on Netanyahu, pointing out that parties in his own governing coalition rejected the idea of a Palestinian state, yet talks proceeded anyway.

Inbar says, one of Natayahu’s supporters, he understood the Israeli cabinet’s decision as a tactical move, calculated to push back at Abbas after the Palestinian leader took the initiative.

“It’s good for domestic politics,” Inbar says, of the Israeli cabinet vote. He adds that it could also stir the Obama administration to intercede on Israel’s behalf. “Maybe the Americans will wake up. I don’t know.”

At this time, the Israelis have controlled on the extremist reputation of Hamas as an opportunity to throw Abbas as the reckless party. After the reconciliation, deal was announced, a post on Netayahu’s Facebook page showed a photo of Osama bin Laden alongside a picture of Abbas shaking hands with a senior Hamas official who had publicly lamented the terror mastermind’s death. “This is President Abbas’ new partner.” What analysts call “the blame game” has played out in the background of the negotiations since their start, with each side quietly angling to avoid being seen as responsible for their assumed eventual collapse.

Israel appeared most vulnerable to the blame, largely because, as the talks proceeded nominally toward establishing a Palestinian state. Netanyahu steadily expanded the approximately 200 Jewish settlements on the West Bank territory where that state was expected to stand. Kerry appeared to seal that assumption earlier this month when he told a Senate committee that Israel’s approval of 700 more units in a settlement undermined U.S. efforts to extend the talks.

As the fate of the talks remains unclear, so does the answer to the question of who might bear the blame for their end. For all the drama of Thursday’s cabinet vote, its announcement felt more increasing than final to many observers.

Prina Sharvit-Baruch (a former Israeli peace negotiator, now at the Institute for National- Security Studies, a think tank at Tel Aviv University) said: It could be tactical leverage, or maybe something more substantial. It could be a way to make sure that Hamas doesn’t gain too much influence inside whatever government emerges.”

Mila Kunis on ‘we are pregnant’: Insipid trend finally nipped in the bud by Mila

Mila Kunis has said what many have been thinking since it has become the trend for couples to say “we are pregnant.” Not only does it sound insipid, but it is a virtual impossibility and Kunis whipped out a microphone before spewing out a rant on this on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” reports ABC News on June 11.

You could just hear the applause coming from around the nation’s living rooms when Mila, 30, passed on a very special message to all the fathers-to-be out there, “Stop saying we’re pregnant!” Because “you’re not pregnant,” your wife or girlfriend is the one who is carrying the baby.

CNN News reports that this started when Kimmel told Kunis that he and his wife are expecting a baby. He said the words, “My wife and I are pregnant” and the rant came to life. She pretended to be angry and then ranted on the “we’re pregnant” saying that she’s sick of hearing.

Mila was hysterically funny and she was also right. She was not only talking for herself, but for the other pregnant women out there when saying, “we have your little love goblin growing inside of all of us. All you did was roll over and fall asleep!”

When did the “we’re pregnant” saying come into vogue? It seemed to just appear one day with Hollywood celebs bringing the “we’re pregnant” into the limelight. Mila is right with what she is saying, pregnant doesn’t just mean that you are expecting a baby. It is a stage of life that the woman’s body has entered into. Once dad makes a deposit, his job is done. His body, emotions and way of life doesn’t change.

Once the fertilization of the egg is done by the father, often in about five minutes or less, for the next nine months it is the woman who is pregnant. She is the one to endure all the changes that come along with being pregnant, not the guys. It is like standing next to a prize fighter who just won the fight and saying “we won.” That’s just not the case.

” No “we” didn’t win, unless you took the punches and the pain that comes along with winning a prize fight, the same goes for being pregnant. Unless you can actually experience the drastic changes which are both visible and invisible, you will never know the true meaning of pregnant. It looks like its time to go back with, “I am going to be a father!”

Meryl, Maks reunite: ‘I love her. I love her!’ reveals ‘DWTS’ star Maksim

Meryl and Maks reunited again this week just two weeks after the couple’s “Dancing With the Stars” win. The Meryl and Maks reunion happened in New York City, and Maks shared a picture of his special time with Meryl on Instagram accompanying it with the words, “All is right in the world again! Got my long awaited hug!” As reported by US Weekly on June 5, Maks doesn’t just talk about his feelings for Meryl, he “raves” about them.

During this week’s interview with US Weekly at the Fred and Adele Astaire Awards, Maks talked about his “romantic” feelings for Meryl and raved about his dance partner. “’I love her. I love her!’ he raved,” wrote US Weekly.

For fans of Meryl Davis and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, the idea of a romance between the “Dancing With the Stars” couple seems perfect. After watching the two compete during season 18, how could they not be involved? The way Meryl looked into Maksim’s eyes, the sensual way they touched each other, there has to be chemistry between them.

What kind of chemistry, though, is a different question. After raving that he loved Meryl, Maks continues to say, “I love her as a person and for what she has allowed me to do with our choreography and how much she’s embraced it…She’s a brilliant person, and she’s also very normal. I enjoyed my time with her. It was sad when the season was over.”

After saying “I love her. I love her!” couldn’t he have just stopped talking? It seems somewhere out there is Meryl’s voice which appears to be saying, “I love him, I love him.”

As reported by the Stir, “We’ve been drooling over the two of them for weeks on end, and now that Maksim Chmerkovskiy has declared his love for Meryl Davis? Um, we can totally go ahead and start planning their hypothetical wedding in our minds.”

In the above video interview, Charlie White, who is the significant other man in Meryl’s life as her ice-dancing partner, provides an interesting insight into the “romantic” relationship of a couple that is in the spotlight. He explains that as long as the cameras are on a couple when competing (such as in ice dancing or “Dancing With the Stars”), the idea of romance and love is part of the performance. It was likely a big part of Meryl and Maks winning “DWTS” and taking home their trophy.

However, once the competition is over and the cameras are turned off, everything returns to real life and real feelings. But the transition between being in front of the camera to being behind the camera is not quite that easy. White has his girlfriend, and he describes that even for her it was a challenge to see her boyfriend and his ice-dancing partner Meryl in such intimate performances as could be seen during their ice-dancing competitions.

Maks added to Charlie’s comments during his US Weekly interview that, “[The rumors are] always circulating around us dancers. It’s fine. That’s the nature of what we do. We’re always in close proximity to each other. In order to produce what Meryl and I produced, there had to have been so much chemistry, and we had it. And that’s what leads people who are not used to that to speculate, which is great. I love that.”

The Instagram photo of Meryl and Maks reuniting in New York City shows both of them as a perfect and happy couple making it hard to believe that they are not dating and romantically involved. Both are dressed in black, with Maks having his arms around her waist. It certainly looks like they are “having” a great time together as a couple. Quite interestingly, while Maks said in his interview “we had it [chemistry],” Meryl says in the above interview that “Maks and I have an amazing relationship … our chemistry, I think, definitely stems from, you know, our friendship and the time we spent together on and off the dance floor. We had an amazing time.” Two weeks after having won “Dancing With the Stars” — it looks like they still do.

‘LeAnn & Eddie’ sneak peek: LeAnn Rimes ready to have a baby?

On Wednesday, Boston.com posted a sneak peek of “LeAnn & Eddie,” the upcoming reality show starring LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian. The video shows that LeAnn might be ready to have a baby. Other clips of the show around the Internet reveal that the couple will discuss their relationship as well as dealing with Eddie’s ex-wife, “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Brandi Glanville.

LeAnn says that she and Eddie have discussed having a baby and have been waiting for the right time. However, LeAnn doesn’t feel that she should wait much longer. In the clip, she visits a fertility doctor and reveals that her mom had fertility issues. Her mother says that LeAnn was a miracle baby and doctors had no idea how she even got pregnant.

While LeAnn is ready for a baby, Eddie doesn’t seem so sure. She brings up the subject with him and he says “we’re not really having babies soon, are we?” Even though he doesn’t seem ready, LeAnn says that this might be her only chance to have a baby of her own.

In addition to baby talk, Brandi Glanville is discussed on the reality show. She and LeAnn have had a feud for a long time. Since Brandi and Eddie have children together, they do have to have some sort of contact. Even though experts say that blended families need to try to co-parent and be civil, things don’t always work out that way. This has been the case with Brandi, Eddie and LeAnn.

E! Online posted a trailer for “LeAnn & Eddie” which reveals a bit more. In that clip, LeAnn and Eddie talk about the start of their relationship. As fans know, Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes were both married to other people when the media discovered their romance. Eddie admits that it wasn’t the best way to start a relationship, but it happened.

In the trailer, the couple takes the time to describe one another. Eddie says that his wife is beautiful, strong, has a great heart and is enthusiastic about life. LeAnn says that he is very handsome, sexy, funny and a fantastic husband. They reveal that they have been through a lot both in their private lives and publicly, but Eddie thinks it has made their relationship stronger. He also talks about work/marriage balance and says that having a career and being a spouse can be difficult.

Will you be tuning into the premiere of “LeAnn & Eddie” on July 17? What do you think of Eddie Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes having a reality show?

George Strait says goodbye with a record breaking concert

The King of Country, George Strait said his farewell in an iconic Texas concert.

King George winds up a career of 33 years on Saturday night with a final tour that concluded in Arlington Texas. The AT&T Stadium welcomed 104,793 spectators becoming the largest indoor concert in the U.S. Thus, breaking the record initially set by the Rolling Stones in 1981.

“The Cowboy Rides Away” final date gathered some of today’s country music biggest stars including Kenney Chesney, Sheryl Crow, Miranda Lambert, Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Vince Gill, Martina McBride and Faith Hill who lined up to accompany on stage the country star in a emotive night. Furthermore, Strait performed a couple of songs with his son, George “Bubba” Jr.

The heartwarming night wandered through over 30 years of George’s notable musical career. As a matter of fact, 20 out of 40 songs were number one hits. Eventually, George Strait has set many records during his journey within the music industry including 10 Top Hits in the charts every year. Additionally, in 2014 George notched the CMA ‘Entertainer of the year’ award. Besides, his opening act “Check Yes or Not” released in Sept. 1995 peaked number one on the U. S. Billboard and the Canadian RPM Country charts. Succeeding the first song, George addressed the crowd “I can’t tell you how excited I am to be here tonight, it’s been on my mind since we started this tour two years ago.”

The King of Country born in Texas in 1952 prevailed in the traditional country sounds along his career and became one the most influential singers of the decade.

Scream Factory Unleashes Hi-Def ‘Nosferatu the Vampyre’ on Humanity

Scream Factory blesses horror fans with yet another Blu-ray release of a cult classic. Director Werner Herzog’s “Nosferatu the Vampyre” gets a high-definition upgrade for the first time. The release gives audiences the opportunity to view what is simply one of the most stylish and beautifully shot genre films.

It’s widely accepted that F.W. Murnau’s 1922 silent film “Nosferatu” is one of the greatest horror films of all time. The epic scene of actor Max Schreck rising from his coffin is easily one of the most frightening moments captured on celluloid. Francis Ford Coppola even mimicked it for his big-budget 1992 adaptation, “Bram Stoker’s Dracula.” The very look of Count Orlock has been imitated in cult favorite vampire films like “Subspecies” and the 1979 TV mini-series “Salem’s Lot.”

“Nosferatu the Vampyre” is a perfect example of cinematic genius and a remake that reverently improves on the original in some aspects. Every scene found in the film drips with chilling atmosphere and historic accuracy. For 107 minutes, Director/Writer Herzog transports us to the year 1850 and takes us on a journey from Wismar, Germany into the Carpathian Mountains and then back to Wismar, where a horrific plague is the perfect cover for Count Dracula’s (Klaus Kinski) insatiable hunger.

The Blu-ray contains both the German and English language versions, which vary from each other quite a bit. The German version seems more lavish and epic. The English version feels slightly more rushed and is shot from different angles at times. Both versions are effective in their own ways, but I prefer the German over the English.

“Nosferatu the Vampyre” is rated PG for violence, sensuality, and frightening/intense scenes. There’s not as much blood and graphic brutality as you would expect from a horror movie made in the late 1970s. Herzog relied on the mood he set for each sequence, leaving the gore and violence off-screen and to your imagination. There’s no nudity or sex scenes, although Dracula does some suggestive touching as he feeds on his prey. We’re also privy to some heavy breathing by both the vampire and his victim.

Scream Factory delivers some enlightening special features for “Nosferatu the Vampyre’s” high-definition debut. Director Werner Herzog provides entertaining audio commentary classic horror fans will enjoy. A vintage “Making of ‘Nosferatu'” featurette gives us insight into the production of the movie. Theatrical trailers are found as well.

It’s extremely evident “Nosferatu the Vampyre” is Werner Herzog’s grand homage to the original silent film. It was the Director’s way of bringing the masterpiece to the big-screen in a way F.W. Murnau could’ve only imagined when he made the original: in color, featuring audio, and using the actual names of the characters found in Bram Stoker’s “Dracula” novel. Murnau was never allowed to do this because Stoker’s widow wouldn’t give him permission. It’s Herzog’s ultimate tribute to what he considers “the greatest film ever to come out of Germany.”

JLo reportedly dating DWTS’ Ukranian dancer, Maksim Chmerkovskiy

Entertainer Jennifer Lopez, who recently split from “boy-toy” boyfriend Casper Smart, is reportedly dating “Dancing with the Star’s” renowned choreographer and “Bad boy of the Ballroom,” Maksim Chmerkovskiy, according to entertainment sources and the New York’s Daily News.

Lopez, 44 recently kicked Smart, 27 to-the-curb amidst allegations of the young choreographer and boyfriend of two years, engaging in sexting and possible romantic liaisons with transvestites.

It is not the first time allegations of Smart popped-up of the young dancer being involved with transgenders. In 2013, JLo’s boyfriend was spotted coming out of a Manhattan “peep-show” small theater on Eighth Avenue; a spot famous for getting your jollies on, and peeping at ladies of the night and transvestites.

The split between JLo and Casper Smart was bound to happen according to sources, and while JLo was performing her FREE concert in her native Bronx last week in Orchard Beach, Smart was a no-show. Smart usually choreographs JLo’s group dances.

JLo, who publicly admitted she “does not like to be alone,” apparently fell into the arms of outspoken dancer, Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Entertainment internet source, [email protected] confirms that this story is true.

At this time, it will be difficult to catch both new love-birds together, for Chmerkovskiy, 34 is currently judging “Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa,” which is India’s version of Dancing with the Stars in Mumbai, and JLo is in Brazil getting ready to perform the opening ceremonies for 2014’s FIFA World Cup. JLo also has a busy schedule lined up back in New York.

So if you are rooting for this new couple to make it, stay tuned for more gossip and entertainment, for even Chmerkovskiy, who had to hoist Lopez all-the-way up with his two hands during a sexy, salsa dance tribute to the late “Queen of Salsa,” Celia Cruz on the American Music Awards back in November, Chmerkovskiy said that that was, “the most stressful four seconds of my life.”

Miracle needed for dog on death row in San Antonio, Texas and you can help!

Volunteers, animal rescue groups and some San Antonio residents are hoping for a miracle tonight. This dog, who lost all his hair from what vets say is a treatable skin condition, needs a foster home, an adopter, or a rescue group to take him ASAP!

The dog, believed to be a lab, was originally scheduled to be euthanized at 6 p.m. Wednesday night by the City of San Antonio Animal Services according to a Facebook post. But volunteers say the nonprofit rescue group, San Antonio Pets Alive!, or SAPA, got him a reprieve and is making a frantic attempt to find him a temporary or forever home by 9 a.m. Thursday, or else the city will euthanize him. If you’re interested in fostering or adopting him please email: [email protected]

Volunteers say the dog has amazing potential, he just needs some love and care. If someone offers to foster or adopt the dog, the post says SAPA will pay for his medical treatment. Kathy Martin, president of Lucky Lab Rescue, says foster parents or adopters should be very optimistic, “I’ve seen many dogs suffering from skin conditions rebound into beautiful labs that make wonderful, loving pets. Someone just needs to give them a chance.”

Look what happened when someone gave this dog with a hair loss skin condition a chance, she blossomed into this happy, playful dog and all her hair grew back.

There are also dozens of other dogs on death row in this facility that need foster and adoptive homes ASAP, even puppies and another dog with a lot of potential that also has a skin condition. You can check out this album to see pictures and information about the pooches. The shelter DOES adopt to people and rescue groups that are out of state. Many dogs have been safely transported across the country to their new homes, so you don’t have to live in the area if you fall in love with a pet online.

Last year more than 4800 dogs were euthanized by the City of San Antonio. Volunteers, rescue groups and even the City has mounted a huge effort to raise awareness about the importance of spaying and neutering pets. If more people who live close to San Antonio become “fosters” for dogs, it would save countless lives. Fostering means taking care of a dog for a temporary amount of time until someone adopts the pet. It’s also tax deductible. To apply to be a foster go to SAPA’s website and click on “Foster”.

Lucky Lab Rescue has saved many dogs who ended up in the San Antonio pound from being euthanized, if you’re interested in adopting from Lucky Lab, please check out their website.

If you want to help save this dog, with the skin condition, please share this article on your Facebook, Twitter or social media accounts. Posting and awareness has saved many pets lives. Your post could just help this dog, who has no name, to one day be called, “Miracle”.

Government infiltrating websites to ‘deny, disrupt, degrade, deceive’

According to some of the newest Edward Snowden leaks as reported on by Glenn Greenwald on Monday, government spies are infiltrating websites in an effort to persuade public opinion and discredit opposition.

The documents from the GCHQ (the British equivalent of the NSA), titled “The Art of Deception: Training for Online Covert Operations,” were given to the NSA and leaked by Snowden. They reveal that the GCHQ is involved, through a unit known as JTRIG (Joint Threat Research Intelligence Group), in “the monitoring of YouTube and Blogger, the targeting of Anonymous with the very same DDoS attacks they accuse ‘hacktivists’ of using, the use of ‘honey traps’ (luring people into compromising situations using sex) and destructive viruses.”

Further, according to Greenwald, “these agencies are attempting to control, infiltrate, manipulate, and warp online discourse, and in doing so, are compromising the integrity of the internet itself.”

The goals of the JTRIG program are “(1) to inject all sorts of false material onto the internet in order to destroy the reputation of its targets; and (2) to use social sciences and other techniques to manipulate online discourse and activism to generate outcomes it considers desirable.”

They do this through the use of several tactics, as listed by a slide from the documents: “Infiltration Operation,” “Ruse operation,” “Set Piece Operation,” “False Flag Operation,” “False Rescue Operation,” Disruption Operation” and “Sting Operation.”

Another slide lists ways to “discredit a target”: “Set up a honey-trap,” “Change their photos on social networking sites,” “Write a blog purporting to be one of their victims,” “Email/text their colleagues, neighbours, friends, etc.”

There’s also a slide on how to discredit a business: “Leak confidential information to companies/the press via blogs etc,” “Post negative information on appropriate forums,” “Stop deals/ruin business relationships.”

A further slide lists the definition of the effects of the agency’s activities: “Using online techniques to make something happen in the real or cyber world.” This includes two categories: “Information Ops (influence or disruption)” and “Technical disruption,” along with the four D’s: “Deny/Disrupt/Degrade/Deceive.”

Greenwald also points out that these tactics are not just used for counter-terrorism, but “against people suspected (but not charged or convicted) of ordinary crimes or, more broadly still, ‘hacktivism’, meaning those who use online protest activity for political ends.”

“The title page of one of these documents reflects the agency’s own awareness that it is ‘pushing the boundaries’ by using ‘cyber offensive’ techniques against people who have nothing to do with terrorism or national security threats, and indeed, centrally involves law enforcement agents who investigate ordinary crimes,” writes Greenwald.

While the idea that government has paid people, known as shills, to post in message boards and other websites in an effort to disrupt conversations has long been believed by conspiracy theorists, this would seem to confirm that it’s happening.

There have been similar reports in the past of the government attempting to influence public opinion through the Internet.

As Greenwald mentions in his article, Cass Sunstein, Obama’s former science czar, wrote in a paper that the government should employ people to “cognitively infiltrate” groups including “chat rooms, online social networks, or even real-space groups.” His main target was conspiracy theorists. He further proposed making it illegal to be a conspiracy theorist.
